The Comprehensive Gaucher Treatment Center
The Comprehensive Gaucher Treatment Center at Tower Hematology Oncology in Beverly Hills, under the direction of Dr. Barry Rosenbloom, provides clinical evaluations for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Gaucher disease. Given the complexity of the disease, the Center utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to optimize patient care, beginning with genetic testing and counseling. Once confirmation of the diagnosis has been obtained, patients undergo a comprehensive set of baseline evaluations – including labs and radiological scans – to determine the degree of hematological involvement and bony disease. Based on these findings, the physician will recommend a treatment regimen, if warranted. All patients will be monitored on a regular basis to assess response to treatment and/or disease status. We are also happy to lend our expertise to other physicians, providing assistance regarding the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of patients with Gaucher disease.
